WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- Low entry fees and excellent payouts are some of the highlights as the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) Summit Sportsman Spectacular season opener kicks off in two weeks February 1-3, at State Capitol Raceway, Port Allen, La.
The double race weekend is tailored to State Capitol Raceway’s weekly racing program featuring Top, Mod and Junior Dragsters competing on Moser Engineering Saturday and Sunday. Street, Quick 16 and Top Door Slammer classes will compete during Moser Engineering Saturday’s program.
•Low entry fees
•Double entry permitted in Top ET and Mod ET.
•Track championship points
•All IHRA/NHRA credentials accepted at the event.
•Event entry will take place at the track.
•The national contingency program is available for all IHRA members who advance to the final two rounds each day.
The weekend program includes a test & tune, racer appreciation cookout and golf cart race. Round prizes will be awarded to Top, Mod and Junior competitors during the first through third rounds.
