WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Over the past 16 years, International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) Summit SuperSeries (Top) and (Mod) World Champions and their guests have experienced the trip of a lifetime to the exotic island country of Aruba.
Thanks to the Aruba Tourism Authority, the dream destination gets even better with an expanded prize package and the inclusion of IHRA Sportsman and Junior World Champions for 2020.
You could say they’re treated like royalty, but many kings and queens never had it this good.
The incredible prize package for two includes airfare and eight days and seven nights at the Eagle Aruba Beach Resort. It is Aruba’s premier beach resort and casino with each room its own private haven. Free car rental for the week is provided by More 4 Less Car rentals and a free island tour is provided by Around Aruba Tours.
In addition, the special guests will be served lunch and dinner at some of the best establishments in Aruba including the famed Driftwood Restaurant, the best seafood restaurant on the island featuring authentic Aruban cuisine.
“On behalf of everyone at IHRA and all our racers, I’d like to thank the Aruba Tourism Authority and Juan Werleman for putting these trips together,” IHRA Vice President Skooter Peaco said. “For nearly two decades, these sponsors have provided Aruba trips for our Summit SuperSeries Top and Mod World Champions, and without exception, our champions have returned with wonderful stories about the incredible hospitality our partners in Aruba provide.”
It is part of an overall package where the Top and Mod champions receive $20,000 to win, an IHRA Gold Card, a World Champion Ironman trophy and a World Championship diamond ring. The Junior champion receives $10,000-to-win, while the Sportsman champion receives $7,000 to win.
