Summit Set to Open Texas Facility

ARLINGTON, Texas — Summit Racing Equipment will open its largest facility to date, a 750,000-square-feet facility in Arlington, Texas with a grand opening this weekend — Friday, Sept. 29 through Sunday, Oct. 1.

Summit is a long-time partner of the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) and sponsors the 2017 IHRA Summit Sportsman National Championship, the Summit SuperSeries, Summit Team Finals and Summit SuperSeries World Finals.

The new facility means Summit Racing customers in most of Texas and adjacent states will enjoy one-day delivery on orders and in-stock parts.

The new Distribution Center is designed to process orders quickly and efficiently. It will be large enough to stock thousands of parts from over 1,200 manufacturers, ready for immediate delivery.

The Retail Super Store will be a destination for performance enthusiasts in the region. It has over 32,000 square feet of display space for parts, tools, and accessories for racing, street performance, trucks and off-road vehicles, restoration, late model vehicles, ATVs and UTVs, and motorcycles.

The store will be open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week, except on major holidays.

With headquarters in Tallmadge, Ohio, Summit operates distribution centers and retail stores in Sparks, Nev.; McDonough, Ga.; and Tallmadge in addition to the new center in Arlington.
