28th Annual Arroyo Valley Car Sho

Words & Photos by Sherm Porter

This annual Sho is held in the center of the Historic Village of Arroyo Grande, a beautiful, relaxing setting for the entrants and spectators alike-surrounded with many fine eateries and of course Doc Bernstein’s Ice Cream Parlor!
While this sho, as many we’ve attended this year was down a few entries from past years, although really hard to notice, as the club does a great job of positioning like cars together, i.e. tri-five Chevys, Woodies, Camaros, Roadsters and so on, each in a pre-set area, so that if you are short on time, or your interests lie with a specific style you can peruse that area, visit with the owners, swap stories…
So put this one down as a ‘don’t miss’, with the cruise on Friday evening, the historic surroundings, great food and trophies you will enjoy the day, and return year after year, always the last Saturday in July…
