AA/Fuel Altered – 2019 Good Vibrations Motorsports March Meet

With a power packed group of nitro-burning Fiat, Bantam, T-roadsters and a ’34 Chevrolet roadster tuning to a 6.0 index, the qualifying to make the 8 car field was as expected with these wild cars…tough.

The 8 car field was comprised of entries from California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada and Kansas with World Champion funny car driver Ron Capps driving the “Good News” ’38 Fiat of the John Hertzig Motorsports Team, Ron’s debut in a fuel altered.

When all the smoke had cleared it was James Day, piloting the Hertzig Motorsports ’38 Bantam “The Tramp” over Dan Hix in his “Heatseeker” ’34 Chevrolet roadster taking the win…along the way James took down Mark Whynaught in his ’23 T-roadster and Elk City, Kansas’ Anthony Lee Whitfield in his ’23 T-roadster “ Mighty Mouse”.
